Doesn't sound like metagaming that hydra is doing, just general interfering on the test server, which is against the rules of the test server.
Originally by: test server rules 2) No interfering with CCP, volunteer or player testing.
The spirit of this rule is prevent people from interfering with people testing new game mechanics but I think it covers tournament testing as well by it's letter.
having a covert spy on grid or in system of a team practicing wouldn't be interfering, but bubbling or trying to prevent practicing as done by hydra would be.
Simple solution ban hydra from the test server or at least the individuals involved and see if maybe next year they realize they can't **** around on the test server and get banned from it with out seriously hurting their team.
With that done PL can't spy on their testing any more either as well, so both sides get what they want.

Alliance testing is like quantum physics, if you observe it you change the results!

I think it's pretty obvious both alliances take the tournament seriously and I think hydra would of responded the same way had PL started to actively interfere with their testing.
As it is this is a reaction to PL spying on them, who ever is in charge of their testing probably raged and decided it was worth risking a ban (or didn't think about a ban) to interrupt PLs testing since they couldn't get any private testing done. Personally I think it's a good thing that this is being brought to the Gms attention rather than more retaliation.
After all the more both teams practice the better fights well see in the tournament.
Still hoping for a hydra PL final.
All the hydra in here complaining that PL are whining or what ever probably just don't want to be banned because in retrospect their know for their actions they could easily and justifiably be. All the alts are probably just IT alts or PL alts trolling.
This happens any time you have two very serious teams in any competition, the hate will be gone when a winner is decided.
